Jason
Fronczak: Small
Hand's, Great Skill
Or, Using God's Gifts, as He gives them.
Jason grew up in a rural area
of Western New York, right in the heart of dairy country. The grandson
of a dairy farmer and a rail man, and son of an auto mechanic he learned
how to work with his hands.
If you saw Jason's hands you
would be surprised, they are small and stubby. He recounted that he once
had a 1st grader compare hand size and the 1st grader and himself had
the same size hands.
Jason had always took a bold stand for Christ in his school
and at 13 he took to a local church puppet ministry. Jason remembers not
having any success doing shows. His small stubby hands made it a
hard fit into the puppets. The day came when he had to perform a lead
role. There was no one else. He had 1 week to get the role down.
Jason recounts that on that very night he went home and
prayed "Lord, give me the skill and I will always use it for
you." The next day everything seemed fine. He had all the basics
down. Jason continued to spread the news of Christ both in school and
through puppetry all through high school. He performed in 3 countries, 3
states, and headlined a children's tent at a large Christian Music
festival in NY.
Jason took that skill and felt God calling him to a
nationwide ministry to kids using puppets. Against the advice of his
guidance counselor and family he decided to
pursue this dream. After graduation he took a position as sound engineer
for a music group called Re-Creation USA from Port Trevorton, PA. This
was a volunteer position that allowed him to learn the ins and outs of
theatrical sound and lighting. He also helped the group design their
first puppet show for incorporation in their church programs.
This position led to a position as route manager and head
puppeteer for the Granpa Cratchet Corp. He took family values nationwide
to children at fairs, festivals, and special events. He still performs
this ministry every summer traveling up to 18 states each year at a
minimum of 12 events.
While working for this company the need for high quality,
fun, entertaining web design presented itself. Jason took it upon
himself to learn this skill and use it for the Lord and as an extra
source of income. Jason has since assisted multiple ministries including
Spirit Led Living in designing and promoting their web sites to a wider
market. Once again his small hands that make typing a challenge have not
hindered him from using his talents for the Lord.
Jason joined the Spirit Led
Living team in late 2005 and has provided his services ever since.
Jason still works for the Granpa Cratchet show. He, his
wife Trisha, and their 2 puppies Mickey and Minnie reside in
Sharpsville, IN and travel together doing the Lords work.
Jason desires that everyone understand that whatever your calling
God can overcome your particular circumstances to make a greater impact
for the kingdom. He did it with Moses. He did it with Gideon, and he did
it with Jason Fronczak.
