How to begin a life with Christ. | ||

The Bible is very clear that during this life we have two options. We must choose eternal life with God or eternal suffering in hell. It may sound harsh but from the beginning God made it clear that sin has consequences. Sin separates man from God. There is no way to bridge that gap without the shedding of blood. Jesus, God’s one and only son, made this sacrifice when he gave his life on the cross and rising from the dead. This bridged the gap between God and man. We need only believe that Jesus was the Son of God and that he died for our sins and rose from the dead to be a mediator between God and man. If you believe this and confess it to God, ask for forgiveness of your sins, and live your life for Christ you will be saved and inherit eternal life with God in heaven. This is done through prayer. Prayer is simply talking to God. You can confess your sins to God in your own words or we have included a “sinners prayer” below to help you if you choose. Just read the words as though you’re saying them to God himself. Sinner’s prayer: Heavenly Father I know I am a sinner. I believe that you sent your son and that he died and rose again for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to live for you. I want to follow you. I submit my life to you and will live everyday for you. In Jesus name, Amen. If you made this decision today and meant it with all of your heart you are now a child of God. Live for him. Find a church that believes in Salvation, read your Bible, share the truth of Jesus with others, and above all pray. You are a child of God.
